Originally created as a class for parents with children in our parent/child classes, this class has now expanded to include other grown-ups in the life of your child. It is therefore open to grandparents, and nannies, as well as mom and dad. This class is designed to help facilitate family music making, and uses modified chords to allow easy access to the instrument. No prior experience is required for his class.
Adults, who have children currently enrolled in a parent-child class, learn in a fun group setting using song material from the current collection*. Students learn to hear chord changes as well as reading chord charts. The tuition for the eight week session includes a supplemental workbook.
Teacher: Jeanne Calderon
Locations: The United Church of Christ of Annapolis
Tuition includes: binder and guitar workbook
Students will need: a guitar, capo and an electronic tuner
*While this class was designed to be concurrent with a parent/child class,
we welcome adults who have previously attended our classes as well as grandparents and caregivers.
